| Instructor Profile: | Pat Lawson, holds a second degree black belt in Shaolin Kung Fu, spent a summer semester training at the Shaolin monastery in Henan, China and is the former owner/chief instructor of the school of Chinese Martial Arts in Stuart, Florida.... In addition to private classes, Pat now offers programs in Yang 24 Competition Forms, Sun 73 Forms, Tai Chi for Arthritis, Tai Chi for Back Pain, and Tai Chi for Diabetes through the Martin County Parks Department, Martin Memorial Health Systems, various Assisted and Senior Living facilities, and is an instructor for the Parkinson's Disease Foundation Exercise Program. Pat serves on the Coordinating Council of the State of Florida Arthritis Partnership and is co-chair of its Education and Outreach committee. Pat is formerly served as President of the Tai Chi for Health Community, a non-profit USA organization seeking to improve the quality of people's lives through Tai Chi for Health programs. |
