The University of Puget Sound is just minutes away from downtown Tacoma WA, which is located at the foot of Mount Rainier and along the shores of Commencement Bay in Washington state. Downtown Tacoma, offers a revitalized waterfront, thriving arts and culture scene, and an eclectic mix of retail shops and restaurants. www.cityoftacoma.org

The University of Puget Sound campus offers unparalleled scenery of the Pacific Northwest, traditional Tudor-Gothic architecture, leafy enclaves for tai chi practice and common areas infused with an indisputable energy.
The dynamic culture and inspiring natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest surrounds the campus.
Tai Chi Chuan is an experiential art, often referred to as “playing” tai chi. The more we do it, the more we benefit; it is self-rewarding. Yet our time is so precious that we measure it out in careful, tiny bits, often forgetting to invest in the areas that will yield the greatest rewards.
Take some time out for yourself this summer and join us at the annual workshop in the beautiful Puget Sound region. We offer courses at all levels so that both new and experienced participants will have the opportunity to enjoy their tai chi even more and will gain the rich benefits of better health that Dr. Lam’s programs provide.
My grandmother used to say, “Don’t put off ‘til tomorrow what you can do today.” Do come and join us! You will not only expand your practice and improve your health, but you will increase the circle of your tai chi friends as well!
Come and play at our place this June.
